Receiving Labels · last updated 16 October 2026
What this app does
Receiving Labels reads inventory transfers and their shipments from your Shopify store so it can print barcode labels for the units you accepted into stock. It runs only inside the Shopify admin and has no storefront component.
What it reads from your store
- Products and variants — title, variant name, SKU, price and barcodes, so a label has something printed on it.
- Inventory transfers and shipments — the accepted, rejected and outstanding quantities on each shipment line.
It writes to your store in exactly one case: when you ask it to generate a barcode for a variant that has none. Existing barcodes on that variant are preserved. Nothing else about a product is ever changed.
What it does not touch
No customer data. The app does not request, read or store orders, customers, addresses, payment details or any other personal information about the people who shop with you. It does not have permission to read them.
What it stores, and why
- Your shop domain and an access token, so the app can talk to your store.
- A printed count per shipment line — the number of labels already printed. This is the only reason the app can avoid reprinting a second delivery.
- A barcode sequence number, so two generated barcodes are never the same.
- A monthly label count, used to apply the free plan’s limit.
- Pending print jobs — the contents of a label sheet you just asked for. These are deleted automatically 30 minutes after they are created.
Product titles, prices and barcodes are read when you open a transfer and used to build the sheet. They are not kept in a catalogue of our own.
Where it is stored
The app runs on Vercel and its database is hosted by Supabase, both in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit. No data is sold, rented, or shared with anyone for advertising.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app deletes everything listed above for your shop, including the access token. Shopify’s mandatory shop/redact request does the same. You can also ask for deletion at any time by emailing support@bindridge.com, and it will be done within 30 days.
Because the app holds no customer data, a customers/redact or customers/data_request webhook has nothing to return or erase; the app acknowledges them and holds no personal data to act on.
